7 minutes
earth rotates, planets spin, skies turn different shades, it rains and it burns, the beauty of life. the balance of life.
life is all about the whirlwinds the sky throws at you. it’s all about the weather. the rainy days and the sunny days. never satisfied with the temperature, the sun is always somehow burning too bright and the rain always makes the sky way too dark. but everyday, when the sun sets, for 7 minutes it is perfect. the sunset is the right shade, cool air on your skin, life is all about those 7 minutes of heaven we always forget about. we let the rainy days cloud our minds and we let the hot touch of the sun on our skin burn us, but we forget the 7 minutes where the moon and the sun join, they cross paths. they wave at each other like they always do, we watch them wave back. life is all about the weather, it just never seems right, or feels right. but life never feels right, it’s not supposed to. as we inhale oxygen, we exhale carbon dioxide. as the sun sets, the moon rises. as the rain falls, in another dimension, the sun burns. there are droughts and floods, sunburnt skin and damp clothes. but life is all about those things. because without those things, how would we recognize the balance of life? we wouldn’t. without the insanely bad and the crazy good, we wouldn’t be able to recognize the 7 minutes of life, life sometimes offers us.
