prison bars
everyone has somewhere to be. everywhere I look I see colors of different shades running towards a destination with unknown whereabouts. a cup of coffee and a smile over the bitter caffeine. the world’s nature without its gleam. tall buildings yet the sea is begging me to drown in it. trying to find the world’s beauty but all I see are prison bars. i’m climbing the prison bars, they have to end somewhere. climbing to the top while the rest of the shades stare up at me in confusion. everyone’s content at the bottom, I never will be.
