starry skies
I push boundaries and I pull you closer and I hook my thumb under your pinky finger, promising unspoken words at the tip of my tongue on the edge of being said and we’re, led to believe that you’re an angel sent from above but we’re sitting under clouds and starry skies; I can’t seem to ever see the stars but, with you they suddenly reappear. and now i’m crawling under blankets, I think i’m living a fever dream but it always, only lasts a few milliseconds, that’s all. and I wake up to reality where stars don’t seem to exist at all.
